Well done everyone.  I was very impressed by the standard of work this semester.  I hope you have enjoyed the course; I have certainly enjoyed teaching it.

Here the results for the Audio Visual class of the second semester taken by second year English majors.  

There were two assignments.  The first was a "Film Diary" kept by the students over the course.  This has been given two marks.  The first is for completeness (eg - how much was written); the second for originality (how much of what was said was interesting and relevant).  The final assignment was a 1,200 word essay.  This has been given four marks:  A mark out of ten for the quality of the English; a mark out of ten for the essay and paragraph structure; a mark out of twenty for the strength of the argument put forward in the essay; and, finally, a mark out of ten for the use of references and outside sources.  The marks from the two pieces of work are added together to give a final score.
